いやぁ、Appleさん、またなんかやってくれそうですね。
次のiPhone、標準モデルがなくなるかもしれないって？
ちょっと待ってくださいよ。
毎年「とりあえず標準でいいか」って人、結構いたんじゃないんですか？
それを急に「Proに行くかAirに行くか、それとも折りたたみに挑戦するか」
なんて言われてもねぇ…。
なんかラーメン屋に行ったら、醤油ラーメンがなくなってて
「味噌か塩かトリュフオイル入り限定にしてください！」って
言われるようなもんですよ。
でもまあ、Appleさんのことだから
「高いモデルに誘導する作戦だな」と思いつつ、
結局みんな買っちゃうんでしょうね。
私も「なんだよ高いなぁ」とボヤきながら、
気づいたら予約ボタンをポチッとしてる気がします。
Pro, Air, or Fold… But Where’s the Regular iPhone?
Well, well… looks like Apple is cooking up something again.
Rumor has it the next iPhone might not even have a “standard” model.
Now hold on a second.
For years, there were plenty of people who just said, “I’ll go with the regular one.”
And suddenly it’s like, “Do you want Pro, Air, or maybe a foldable?”
That’s like walking into a ramen shop and finding out the basic soy sauce ramen is gone.
“Sorry sir, today it’s miso, salt, or the limited-edition truffle oil special.”
But you know, it’s Apple.
Part of me thinks, “Ah, here we go, they’re nudging us toward the pricey models.”
And yet, I can already see myself grumbling, rolling my eyes, and then…
clicking that pre-order button anyway.
